Description

Samsung 65" QN70H Neo QLED 4K Ultra HD HDR Smart TV (2026), Quantum Dot, Color Booster Pro · product code QE65QN70HAUXXU

The Samsung QN70H is the entry point to the 2026 Neo QLED range. A Quantum Mini LED backlight with Supreme Mini LED Dimming controls light in far more zones than a conventional LED set, and a Quantum Dot layer with Color Booster Pro keeps colour saturated as brightness rises. The NQ4 AI Processor handles 4K Upscaling and AI Customization, and HDR covers NQ HDR, HDR10+ Adaptive and HLG. There is no Dolby Vision on Samsung televisions.

One point deserves emphasis. The panel is 50 Hz native at every size, with a 120 Hz DLG mode listed only from 55 inches up, and the HDMI inputs run 4K at 60 Hz, so this is a set for film, drama and broadcast rather than high-refresh console gaming. A satellite tuner is fitted throughout, sound is 20 W over two channels, and Tizen runs the smart side.

65" QN70H Neo QLED 4K Ultra HD HDR Smart TV

Neo QLED pairs a Quantum Mini LED backlight with Quantum Dot colour, adding a satellite tuner, Vision AI and the Tizen platform in a slim Air Slim body.

The QN70H is the entry to the Neo QLED range. Its backlight uses Quantum Mini LED with Supreme Mini LED Dimming, controlling light in far more zones than a standard LED set, while a Quantum Dot layer with Color Booster Pro does the colour work. The NQ4 AI Processor adds 4K Upscaling and AI Customization to older or compressed material.

It is worth being clear about what this model is for. The picture technology is Neo QLED, but the panel is 50 Hz native at every size and the HDMI inputs run 4K at 60 Hz. That suits films, drama and broadcast sport well. Gamers who want a high-refresh panel need to look further up the Neo QLED range instead.

Neo QLED picture technology at the accessible end of the range, on a 50 Hz panel, which is a fair trade for film and broadcast but not for gaming.
About this size: VESA is 400 x 300 mm on this size, not the 200 x 200 mm used on the 43, 50 and 55 inch.

Ideal For

Film, drama and broadcast sport

Quantum Mini LED dimming and Quantum Dot colour do most of their work on filmed material, where the 50 Hz panel is not the limiting factor.

Bright, busy living rooms

Supreme Mini LED Dimming holds contrast under daylight better than a conventional LED backlight, and the Air Slim body sits close to the wall.

Homes with a satellite dish

A DVB-S2 satellite tuner is fitted on every size alongside terrestrial and cable, so a dish feed can go straight into the set.

What Neo QLED adds here

Neo QLED means two things working together. The Quantum Mini LED backlight uses much smaller emitters than a standard LED panel, so Supreme Mini LED Dimming can control brightness in far more areas of the screen and keep bright detail from washing out the black around it. The Quantum Dot layer then handles colour, with Color Booster Pro maintaining saturation as brightness climbs. The NQ4 AI Processor ties both to the source with 4K Upscaling and AI Customization.

Refresh rate, gaming and honesty

The panel is 50 Hz native on every size in this line, and Samsung lists a 120 Hz DLG mode only from 55 inches upward. The HDMI inputs run 4K at 60 Hz. The gaming features are still here: Game Bar, Super Ultra Wide Game View, Motion Xcelerator, ALLM, VRR, HGiG and Gaming Hub for cloud titles. They are useful for casual play, but anyone buying primarily for a current console should choose a model with a faster panel.

Sound, sockets and smart platform

Audio is 20 W over two channels with OTS Lite, Adaptive Sound+, Active Voice Amplifier for dialogue, and Q-Symphony to run a Samsung soundbar alongside the TV speakers. Connections cover three HDMI inputs with eARC on one, two USB-A sockets, Ethernet, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3. Tizen with One UI brings the Vision AI Companion, Generative Wallpaper, the Art Store, Multi-View, Apple AirPlay and Google Cast, with updates to 31 December 2031.

The Verdict

Why it stands out

  • Quantum Mini LED backlight with fine zone dimming
  • Quantum Dot colour with Color Booster Pro
  • Satellite tuner fitted on every size in the line
  • Air Slim body with two USB-A sockets
  • HDR10+ Adaptive tone mapping for changing room light

Worth knowing

  • The panel is 50 Hz native at every size, and Samsung lists a 120 Hz DLG mode only from 55 inches upward. The HDMI inputs run 4K at 60 Hz.
  • Serious gamers should look further up the Neo QLED range. This set has the gaming menus and features but not the high-refresh panel behind them.
  • Quantum Mini LED is still a backlit LCD rather than self-emissive pixels, so some blooming around bright objects on a black background is possible.

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

  2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement.

Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
